Congratulations to our brave clients who just finished their six-week HEALING (Helping, Empowering, Advancing, Listening, Inspiring, Nurturing and Growing) Group. Topics for group included self-esteem, dealing with depression and anxiety and self-care. Our next group will be held some time in September of 2014. Be watching the events calendar to find out more information.
The Family Violence Program takes donations of used cell phones. Some of the phones are given to victims of domestic violence for the purpose of calling 911. Others are sent to a program called Shelter Alliance, which reimburses us for each phone we send to them. No phone is off limits. They will even take broken phones. If you would like to donate your old or used cell phone please drop it off at the Family Resource Agency on Michigan Avenue Rd. from the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Thank you!

Additional thanks to The Mailboxes and The Ambitions for blessing us with their time and talents and the proceeds from the sales of their CDs. We are truly blessed to have such a caring community.
