Shelter

Harbor Safe House is a safe, confidential shelter for victims of domestic and/or sexual violence who are in dangerous, abusive situations.  Clients (women and their minor children) may stay in the shelter from a few days up to 6 weeks.  The shelter provides a safe place for individuals to regain their sense of personal strength and dignity so that they can learn to begin to break the cycle of abuse.  Harbor Safe House can sleep up to 12 women and children and is handicap accessible.

Men can also be victims of domestic and/or sexual assault.  Although the Harbor House is designed strictly for women and their minor children, we can also provide confidential shelter at another location for men who are in dangerous, abusive situations.

If you need shelter or know of anyone who needs shelter, he/she may call our hotline.  It is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The Hotline number is 423-476-3886
TTY for the Hearing Impaired is 423-476-3822
Polk County residents may call collect.
