Tuesday’s cancelled training will now be presented on February 5th from 5:30-9:00 PM. We will still host this Thursday’s training as scheduled.

January 2019 Volunteer Training

Join us for our first bi-annual training of the year for all volunteers and new staff. We provide in-depth training on how to answer hotline calls, understanding the court system as it relates to our work, practicing self-care, and more. Training dates will be January 22nd, 24th, 29th, 31st from 5:30-8:30 PM. Volunteer Training

Our next volunteer training will be on the nights of September 12th, September 14, September 19th and September 21st.  We will meet at the Family Resource Agency from 5:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. each night.  Topics covered will be domestic violence 101, sexual assault 101, professional boundaries, court advocacy, crisis and hotline counseling, vicarious trauma, trauma-informed care and self-care. Early Bird Registration for our We Give Hope 5K Run and 1 Mile Fun Walk
