Volunteer Training

Our next volunteer training will be on the nights of September 12th, September 14, September 19th and September 21st.  We will meet at the Family Resource Agency from 5:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. each night.  Topics covered will be domestic violence 101, sexual assault 101, professional boundaries, court advocacy, crisis and hotline counseling, vicarious trauma, trauma-informed care and self-care. Early Bird Registration for our We Give Hope 5K Run and 1 Mile Fun Walk

4th Annual We Give Hope 5K Run and 1 Mile Fun Walk

Come be a part of our 4th Annual We Give Hope 5K Run and 1 Mile Fun Walk on October 7, 2017.  The event will take place on the Greenway (Raider Dr.) at the Pavilion and will last from 9 – 11 a.m.  We will have continental breakfast foods, music, goodie bags, t-shirts for walkers and runners, and wonderful door prizes.  October is also domestic violence awareness month and the since the awareness color is


We are pleased to announce that our third annual “We Give Hope” 5K Run and 1 Mile Fun Walk is scheduled for Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 8:00 a.m.  The event will take place on the Greenway (755 Raider Dr.), across from Cleveland High School.  All proceeds will benefit the Family Violence Program/Harbor Safe House.  Here are some more details: Cost to participate: 5K Run $20.00 Student fee (grades 1-12) $25 College Student fee $35 Registration


On June 2, 2015, Family Promise of Bradley County partnered with the Cleveland Police Department and the Family Violence Program to raise awareness for children who are facing a crisis or homeless situation.  The program received 60 bags filled with stuffed animals, blankets and books for children of all ages who have to come into shelter.  We would like to say thank you to both Jessica and Eva at Family Promise, for all their dedication and hard
