Our next volunteer training will be on the nights of September 12th, September 14, September 19th and September 21st.  We will meet at the Family Resource Agency from 5:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. each night.  Topics covered will be domestic violence 101, sexual assault 101, professional boundaries, court advocacy, crisis and hotline counseling, vicarious trauma, trauma-informed care and self-care.

For those who wish to do direct services with clients (answering the hotline, crisis counseling, helping with children), you must attend all 4 nights of the training, pass a federal background check and a drug test.

For those who wish to do indirect services, such as, cleaning, sorting donations, office work, running errands, etc., you only have to attend the first two nights of training.

If you are interested in giving your time to a very worthy cause, please contact Tori Tucker at 303-3525 or at vtucker@fratn.com.
